Vester Flanagan, the guy suspected of shooting and killing WDBJ-TV journalist Alison Parker and cameraman Adam Ward on are living television on Wednesday, Aug. 26, was fired from the station two years ago because of anger problems, WDBJ overall manager Jeff Marks said all the way through a broadcast.
According to Marks, Flanagan was “difficult to paintings with” and had to be escorted out through police after being fired. Marks described him as “an unsatisfied man” and at all times “looking out for folks to mention things he may take offense to.” Flanagan also claimed that Parker made racists remarks.
The suspected gunman, whose on-air call was Bryce Williams, also reportedly sent the station a 23-page manifesto prior to the shooting, which has since been passed over to authorities.
